DESCRIPTION:
- These Berthold Electric charge/discharge bus bar assemblies were designed to provide an alternative to the traditional charge/discharge bus bars typically mounted above the battery stand.
- Entire assembly is designed to mount above the power distribution bays
- Available in a variety of sizes and ampacities to fit most any application
- Ampacity from 1500A to 9000A. Higher amperage assemblies are available upon request.
- Metering shunt with shunt by-pass detail integrated into the design
- 100% conductive, radius edged copper bus bar
- Standard comcoded assemblies include mounting insulators and grade 5 zinc plated bolts and hardware.
- Modular design allows for expansion
- Custom bus bar assemblies specially designed and manufactured to meet your exact specifications also available.
APPLICATIONS:
- These charge/discharge bus bars, which are designed for the centralized architecture application, mount above the power distribution bays and provide numerous advantages:
- Easy access for the power installer
- Shorter cable runs help reduce voltage drop
- Increased number of drillings for more cable terminations
- Improved cable management and reduced cable congestion
- Easy shunt replacement using the shunt by-pass detail.
- Configurations available for use above 26" or 36" wide power distribution bays
- Discharge bus can be configured as the MGB/Ground Window
